Week 1:

112 new runners joined us for the first week of our 2017 Couch to 5k course at 3M sports ground – a fantastic turnout on a beautiful, sunny spring evening.

Poplar Running Club members turned out in force to support, advise and encourage our participants – all completed the first work-out with plenty of laughter and enthusiasm!

Paula has kindly set up a ‘homework’ meet on Sunday 10th April at Darwin Crescent (Pear Tree Lane) Park at 10.00 if you would prefer to run with a group.

Limited parking is available on Darwin Crescent or walk up the grassy hill from Maxwell Drive and the park is at the top!



Week 2:

Thursday 13th April at 6.30pm at Jubilee Park, Buckingham Drive Loughborough LE11 4TE (by the bus stop).

Please car share where possible and park with sensitivity to local residents.  Alternative parking at Morrison’s supermarket/Gorse Covert Community Centre car park,  and walk over the footbridge to Jubilee Park.

New members are very welcome and for those attending for the first time it is helpful (but not essential) if you could download and complete the registration form and bring this with you Poplar-Running-Club-C25k-registration-form
